Land acknowledgement & inclusivity

Opal Wellness provides care and services to clients on the unceded, traditional territories of the Lekwungen (Esquimalt, and Songhees) nations. We recognize that, as settlers, we have significantly changed Indigenous peoples’ relationships with this land. We acknowledge that the impacts of colonization, land expropriation, and residential schools are both historic and current.

Through continued self-development and education, we have taken steps and will always work to keep our clinic environment respectful, welcome and safe for everyone.
